PROCUREMENT OF WORKS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BRIKAMA TAX OFFICE

1. You are hereby invited to be a Bidder in the Tender described in this Letter and the enclosed documents. The Gambia Public Procurement Act defines a Tender as a type of Bid and anyone submitting a Tender or other Bid is known as a Bidder. Under the Tender process, there will be a public opening of all bids received at the place and at the time stated in paragraph 7 below.
2. To enable you to submit your Bid, please find enclosed the following documents: a) Bid Data Sheet; b) Qualification Document Questionnaire ; c) Technical Specifications; d) Drawings; e) Bill of Quantities; f) Draft Contract; g) Security Forms;
3. The works to be effected shall be performed at Gambia Revenue Authority Property in Brikama, 2 nd block from West Coast Region Governor’s Office and the required time for the performance of the works is 14 months commencing on JULY 07, 2025.
4. (a) The deadline for submission of inquiries and for requests for clarifications is JUNE 11, 2025.
(b) A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will take place as follows. (i) The location of the mandatory pre-bid conference is at GAMBIA REVENUE AUTHORITY (GRA) ANNEX BUILDING-BOARD ROOM on the third floor, on MAY 26, 2025 @10:00 GMT. (ii) There will be a mandatory site visit on MAY 27, 2025. The Meeting Point is Brikama Area Council
5. The Bidder shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the Bid and such costs will not be part of the Bid price.
6. The Bid shall be written in English. A complete set of Bid documents in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders within JUNE 17, 2025 on the submission of a written application to the COMMISSIONER GENERAL, GAMBIA REVENUE AUTHORITY, REVENUE HOUSE, 78 – 79 LIBERATION AVENUE, BANJUL at the PROCUREMENT UNIT and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GMD10,000.00.
7. Bids must be signed by the Bidder or a duly appointed agent and submitted in the number of originals and copies stated in Articles 7 and 8 of the Bid Data Sheet, marked as such and send to COMMISSIONER GENERAL, GAMBIA REVENUE AUTHORITY, REVENUE HOUSE, 78-79 LIBERATION AVENUE, BANJUL at the PROCUREMENT UNIT on or before 12:30pm Gambian time on JUNE 17, 2025. Bids will be OPENED in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 12:45PM, JUNE 17, 2025 at the BOARD ROOM, GAMBIA REVENUE AUTHORITY, REVENUE HOUSE, 78-79 LIBERATION AVENUE, BANJUL.
8. Bids must be submitted in a single sealed envelope marked as follows: (a) The name and address of the Procuring Organisation (see Article 1 and 3 of the Bid Data Sheet); (b) The project title and number (see Article 4 of the Bid Data Sheet); (c) “Not to be opened before the Bid Deadline” (see Article 10 of the Bid Data Sheet).
