Training on Revenue Laws
The Gambia Revenue Authority through the Department of Legal and Board Services on Monday 27th November 2023 commenced a five-day training on the revenue laws administered by the Authority.
The training is intended to increase the capacity of the staff of the Authority on the various laws administered by the Authority. It also includes sessions on the administrative processes and procedures in place for the assessment and collection of duties and taxes both on domestic businesses and international trade.
The training is the 6th edition of similar training conducted under the funding of the Agence Francaise de Development (AFD) project to support Domestic Revenue Mobilization in The Gambia with over 150 staff already trained.
